Catching up!

Goodness!
I'm so behind with our blog...too busy living to tell about it!
We had a wonderful winter break from school.  Lots of time together as a family.
The photo above makes me laugh.
Lukey was out of town for a few days for work before the break.
Whenever he goes out of town, the kids sleep in our room with me.
One gets to sleep in the bed and we make a pallette on the floor for the other one!
This time, they both wanted to sleep on the pallette because we added lots of big pillows underneath!
I tried it too, and it sure was comfy!
Grammy and Grumps sent the cutest puppy stuffed animals for Valentine's Day!
Trey and Ambry definitely have puppies on the brain...
we will be getting our first pet, a maltipoo puppy, at the end of April.
These stuffed puppies will have to do until our new family member arrives!
Thanks Grammy and Grumps!
President's Day brought us a winter break from school!
Whooo hooo!
Ambry and Nana and I started our break with a trip
to Alabama to see cousin Allison compete in her first gymnastics meet!
The kiddos in the hotel the night before the meet!
We all went out to dinner together!
 Ambry is so silly!
She was putting on a show for us before we went to bed!
 The big day!
Nana and Allison!
Alli was AMAZING!  She looked like a pro!!!
 Ambry and Alli and I!
We loved getting to see her do her "thing"!
Alli scored a 9.25 on the beam... she came in third overall in that event!!!
Alli's team came in first in their age group!
They earned a trophy and a giant banner that the team all got to sign.
 What a STAR!!!
Uncle Matt, Aunt B, Parker and Allison
After the meet, we headed to Moultrie to spend a few days at the farm!
I love to see Uncle Randy, Aunt Kathy and Nana hanging out
together in the kitchen!  Awesome brother and sisters!!!
A friend of Nana's brought two cats to the farm so she could have "barn cats" again!
They are doing a great job keeping the mice away.
They are also really sweet kitties and Trey and Ambry enjoyed getting to play with them.
Koa and Kakee!  (They have Hawaiian names.)
Nana cooked a big meal one night and Uncle Randy and Aunt Mary,
Aunt Kathy and Uncle Larry and Ms. Vickie all came over to eat and hang out.
We had a ball sitting around the table sharing funny stories.
We thought we would head home after all of the farm fun, but Lukey
decided to plan a last minute fishing trip in Steinhatchee, FL!
He rented a boat and we were up at 5:30 am for the drive and to get on the water early.
 The Sea Hag Marina!
Steinhatchee's finest!
The water was smooth as glass all day!
It was a little chilly going out to fish, so Ambry
and I wore Luke's rain gear to try to stay warm.
Trey got his line in the water quickly!
The fish were not biting, but we had lots of other entertainment.
Ambry is quite a performer!
She was using bananas to keep us laughing.

 Mother and Son!
 Nana and her grands!
Ambry was quite a good little fisherwoman!
And look who caught the first fish...
Not to be outdone, Lukey caught a few too!
And Nana caught one as well!
We didn't get to keep any of our fish, they were all too short.
It was such a fun day, and then, we got to spend the night
in Jon and Selena's "Mobile Mansion" at Keaton Beach.
Trey and Ambry slept in recliners and they loved it.

We had a
fantastic, family filled
winter break!
SO thankful
for all of the memories we made!
