The Taylor Reunion!

We had a really nice, yet short, weekend at the farm!
It was the 93rd annual Taylor reunion this weekend!!!
Trey and Ambry had a ball bidding on things at the auction
on Saturday night.  I made Kim and Pam's ice cream dessert
and it sure was good!  We think it should be called
"Make You Fat" dessert!  HA!
Sunday, we enjoyed visiting with the extended Taylor family
and gorging ourselves on delicious Southern cooking!
Grandmama's family had 16 in attendance this year!
 The auction items!
Aunt Kathy, Aunt Mattie Nell, and Nana.
Aunt Mattie reminds me so much of Grandmama Buckner.

Ambry and Trey with their auction items!
Trey was so sweet and bid on that angel snow globe for me!

It was so hot during the day, the kids wanted to wait and play on the little playground that night after the festivities were over.

And a special part of the weekend was seeing all of the
beautiful changes and updates Nana has done to
Grandmama and Grandaddy Buckner's home.
She has such a sweet vision of what she wants to do there.
Keep things with the farmhouse feel, keep the character and
memories of Grandaddy and Grandmama alive, make it a real
Gathering Place for the family to enjoy,
and update and freshen the colors and decor.
She is so very gifted in using what she already has
to create a fabulous new look!
Master bedroom with hardwood floors re-done and new paint color.
So pretty!
Dining room with hardwood floors redone and new green wall color.
Stunning!
Awesome new ornament tree with the
Moultrie balls displayed!
We love all of the changes going on!!!
Thanks Nana for such a fun weekend!
