Summer Fun in Moultrie!

A few weeks ago, Luke's mom asked me to come to Moultrie to help her
do some cleaning at her aunt's home.  Aunt Mattie Nell is 85 years old and she
wanted some closets cleaned out and some furniture rearranged!
Of course the OCD team of Mama Lu, Aunt Kakidy and Boog took on the challenge!
I wish I had taken some before and after shots of the transformation.
It was dramatic!
We worked all day at her house one day and played at the farm
and around Moultrie the rest of the week!

Who wouldn't love one of Uncle Larry's fresh, sweet watermelons for breakfast!?
We took Nana to see Tyson Steel!
They added a peacock this time.
One of the amazing carved chairs at Tyson Steel.
We've been to see the "animals" several times, but I am always amazed!
The big bear was in a different spot this visit.
The giraffe is the most beautiful creature there.
Silly Ambry!
The rhino...
 The hippo...
Mr. Tyson is so generous to share his "animals" with the public!

After a fun lunch at Old Mexico with Aunt Kakidy and Selena
and Tucker and his friend Carson, we headed back to play
on the farm and wait for our Alabama cousins to arrive!
We all ate at Barber's and then played and played on the tire swing!
One pretty day lilly was open.  It reminded us of Grandmama.
Sweet cousins hanging out, finding treasures on the farm, swinging,
playing and enjoying a warm summer night.

The kiddos always seem to end up with FARM FEET!!!
Trey and Parker came up with a new way to "swing"!
 Boys will be boys!
With their BB guns up in the hay loft.
Thank you Nana for more special summer memories!
We love you!!!
