Valentine's Day!

We had a day full of LOVE...

 I baked heart shaped cinnamon rolls for breakfast!

And colored the frosting pink!

The kiddos came out in the morning to special 

Valentine gifts!

Lukey made me laugh 

and then cry 
with the hilarious and touching card 
and beautiful roses 

he gave me!
(The touching part is what
he wrote on the inside!)

I made our traditional Valentine supper...

mini pizzas with heart shaped pepperoni and canadian bacon and salad.

 Our "Love Potions" were a new touch this year!

Everyone loved them!!!

 I love that we eat Valentine supper all together!

(Lukey and I like to skip the crowds and go on a date another night.)

 Our dessert was yummy!

Strawberries, angel food cake and heart shaped marshmallow kabobs 
drizzled in chocolate along

with strawberry ice cream and sprinkles!

Lots of sweets for my sweets!

I hope Trey and Ambry will always remember the fun

we have on Valentine's Day!

I'm so in LOVE with our family of four!!!

All About Ambry!

 I did something to Ambry's hair recently that I used to do to my own hair back when I was younger!  Braids at night and in the morning there are little crimps! She LOVED her new hairstyle!

TOO CUTE!!!

 Ambry's 8th birthday is coming up!

We are giving her a painting party at a local art studio!

She is very excited about it.

Today is just an ordinary Friday, 

but I am feeling SO thankful for TWO things!

The first is this...

Our laundry room is EMPTY!

(There is a tiny load in the washer, but that will be so easy to finish!)

The ironing is done, the baskets are free of dirty clothes.

It doesn't look this way often, but when it does I LOVE it!

And the second thing I am SO thankful for today is this...

We chose Date #2.

Encyclopedias!

Trey used to LOVE looking through his Grandaddy and Grandmama Buckner's

encyclopedias whenever we would go to visit in Moultrie.  He enjoyed all of the photos and 

captions in this "ancient" collection of information!

 He was thrilled when his Nana decided to give them to him a few months ago!  

He had me clear off a couple of shelves in his room, 

and he put all the books in order. 

His latest, he says he is going to read through ALL of the books in 2012!

He is halfway through the A's right now.  I really admire him for coming up

with such a great goal.  I hope he will stick with it and get all the way to Z!

I'm pretty sure Grandaddy and Grandmama Buckner are proud of their great grandson!
