I absolutely ADORE the sign we passed under today...
YES! We're here!
The Magic Kingdom's Fort Wilderness will be our home away from home
for the next week! So many adventures to be had and memories to make!
After we QUICKLY set up our camper...
We walked down for dinner at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review!
Thanks to my booking our reservation 180 days in advance, we had an awesome
table right near the stage! We were smack dab in the middle of all the action!
The Pioneer Hall Players did not disappoint!
They sang and danced and joked and pranked!
We loved every minute!!!
They even brought around washboards
so we could join in the show!
After our delicious dinner of fried chicken and ribs and all the fixins, served up in metal pails of course, we took a stroll around the campground.
Wildlife was everywhere! And all of the animials we saw were not
in the least bit afraid of people. We got very close to bunnies, turkeys, and deer!
As if that wasn't amazing enough, the "regulars" at Fort Wilderness
have a sort of competition with Christmas lights and blow-ups displays each December!
WOW!
We couldn't believe the EXCESS of Christmas decoration!
The Fort Wilderness campers go all out for the holidays!
We had a tiny tree, lighted candy canes, and icicle lights of our own.
Everyone is so excited for a fun filled week of Disney Magic!
