Trey and Ambry started music lessons last night!
Trey is taking electric guitar lessons and Ambry is learning to play the drums!
We loved meeting their teachers at Musicology in downtown Newnan.
Trey's teacher is Ms. Jody
Ambry's teacher is Mr. Torrey
Their first lesson covered all of the basics for the guitar and the drums.
Trey now knows how to read basic music and play 3 notes on the guitar.
Ambry now knows what a high hat cymbal, crash cymbal, ride cymbal,
tom tom, floor tom, snare drum and bass drum are
as well as how to hold her drum sticks correctly.
Both kiddos have homework to practice this week.
They came right home from church last night and began practicing!
It makes Luke and I proud to see them so excited
about learning something new.
We'll see...
maybe mommy will soon live out her dream of learning to play the drums too!
