For Ambry's birthday, Luke and I wanted to give her an American Girl doll.
She has been asking for one for a while now.
So we drove up to Luke's office today and met him, and then he came with us to the American Girl Boutique and Bistro in Atlanta.
WOW!
I've never seen a store devoted solely to dolls and their clothes
and accessories. There were even rows upon rows of books about them.
Ambry was overwhelmed when we arrived, but she quickly found her way around the store and loved looking at all of the American Girl merchandise!
She chose a doll that looks simmilar to herself and we had her doll's ears pierced at the doll salon (yes, I am serious!),
and then got Ambry and her doll matching American Girl shirts to wear.
We had lunch reservations at the American Girl Bistro.
Rebecca Marleea (as Ambry has named her) had her own little booster seat at the table and her own tiny tea cup!
The bistro was a little girl's dream!
Pink and flowers everywhere and yummy meal choices with a big ice cream sundae to celebrate her upcomming birthday for dessert.
Luke even turned off the airbags in his truck on the ride back to his office so Ambry could sit up front and snuggle with her daddy!
It was a sweet sweet day and I am so thankful that Luke and I were able to share it with Ambry.
Happy early 7th birthday to our "American Girl"!
