Three years ago we had a salsa making party with Luke's cousin Jon
in Moultrie at their farm. Jon's salsa recipe was SO good, that many of
our friends wanted to make his salsa too!
Last year we had our first Salsa making party here at our house and
today we held our second annual Salsa Sunday!
We made 209 pints of salsa! Not only is the finished product amazing,
the process is so much fun!!!
Here are a few pictures of the day... I was kept busy peeling tomatoes so didn't have
much time for photos!
Jars ready to go and salsa recipe calculations underway the night before!
Our new PC cornhole set arrived just in time for the festivities!
Fresh roma tomatoes from the farmers market!
Brandon's invention...
The Redneck tomato press!
Some of the peelin's!
Sampling the first batch!
We ended up making 3 batches... each batch was about 40 quarts of salsa!
The kiddos enjoyed the pool all day!
Peelin' peelin' and more peelin'!
Pretty skies!
Our bounty!
SO worth the long day in the sun!
Thank you Greshams, Smiths and Lanhams for another successful Salsa Sunday!!!
