Colquitt County

We had a quick trip to Moultrie for the first round playoff game
between Colquitt County and our own East Coweta High!
We couldn't believe it when we heard they were playing each other.
Luke said we had to go... but WHO should we cheer for?
We ended up spending the first half of the game on the CCHS side
and the second half on the ECHS side.
(Our Newnan fans were cheering loud, but we just couldn't pull out a win!)

We had to head home on Saturday, but not before some
fun times at the Calico craft fair and then at the farm.
I think we ate our weight in kettle corn, candy apples, fudge, nuts,
and other craft fair treats!
Ambry's favorite activity was making her own candle!
I had to take a photo of the CHAIRY FAIRY!
This little girl had a booth of chairs and stools that she had
hand painted!  An adorable entrepreneur!

Lukey got a huge load of pinestraw for our yard, and these three
wanted to climb to the top of the 75 bales!!!
They always enjoy hanging out in the hay loft.
So thankful for a short, but sweet trip to Moultrie!

Operation Christmas Child

I love our church!
We participate in packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child
every November.  The boxes are full of toys, candy, soap, socks, pens, etc...
They are given to children in need overseas!
This year, each child brought in a shoe box and they got to pack them together!
I am so thankful for a church that teaches my kiddos the importance
of giving and serving!
(Ambry is right in the center holding a red box!  She had a blast!!!)

Bonecrushers Team Party

Tonight was bittersweet.
We had our end of the season party for Trey's football team.
The party was so much fun, but we were all sad to say
goodbye to our awesome football family!
I made cupcakes for the party.
Footballs and bones for the Bonecrushers!
Hanging out before the party started.
 Trophies and cake!
We had a yummy pizza dinner.
 The boys enjoying their dinner.
Coach Jeff said such nice things about each
of the players as he gave them their trophies!
 Trey loved his trophy!
Coach Jeff giving Luke his trophy and gift!
We are so thankful we had another wonderful footballs season.
Coach Jeff was such a great role model for all the boys.
We really appreciate all he did for the Bonecrushers!
Luke and Trey and their trophies!
Had to get a picture of some of the team mommas that I got to know!
Love these sweet ladies!!!
Bonecrushers... we will never forget our fabulous season!
7 and 1!!!
WHOO HOO!

Let's Go Indians!

Let's Go Indians! (clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap)
We went to the East Coweta High vs. Newnan High School Football game tonight!
WOW was it ever fun!
The rivalry between the two schools reminded me of the rivalry
between Lake Brantley and Lake Mary High Schools when I was growing up!
We tailgated before the game, jammed to the band, did lots of people watching,
ate concession stand snacks, and of course, cheered the ECHS Indians on to
VICTORY!
It was the first time they have beat Newnan in 7 years!!!
The thrill of the high school game and the roar of the crowd just took
Luke and I back to high school and PC football days.
SO glad we got to take Trey and Ambry and experience it
with them!  They LOVED every minute!

All of the ECHS football and cheer parents had these shirts!
Parents and students lined the street waiting for the football players'
bus to arrive!
 Here come the Indians!!!
 Our family tailgating!
(It was a "black out" for ECHS, so we joined right in!)
Had to take a picture of this amazing cake that one of the football players'
grandmothers made for the tailgate party!
 Kelly and Trevor and Carlin!
They were so sweet to invite us to their tailgate!!!
Trey and Ambry were ready to get LOUD!
Trevor and Kelly and their oldest daughter, Meg.
It is Meg's senior year at ECHS!
She is a varsity cheerleader!
 Indians after warming up.
LOVE that the Indians and all their coaches prayed before the game.
Hunter and Ambry and baby Easton.
Easton cheered every time our stands cheered!
He was so funny!!!
Final score!
ECHS 28...NHS 25!
Let's Go Indians!!!

Happy Halloween!

We enjoyed our yearly Halloween tradition tonight...
Trick or Treating over at the Greshams' neighborhood!
I think we all agreed that the winner of funniest costume
this year, was little Claire as Snow White!
Her wig and bright red lips were the best!!!
As I write this post and add some of our Halloween photos,
Luke, Trey and Ambry slumber soundly... the result of SUGAR COMAS!
Much candy was consumed tonight and much fun was had by all!
Our spooky Halloween supper was a big hit!
Mummy Meatloaf, sawed off fingers, green google eyes, poison leaves,
and muddy milk to drink!
 The Greek goddess Athena!
 Indiana Jones!

After our spooky supper and a few photos at home,
it was time to go trick or treating!
Cap'n Jack Sparrow and Indiana Jones!
(Trey and Declan have been best buddies since they
were babies in the church nursery together.)
Toddlers and Tiaras, Buzz Lightyear, an Army Man, Snow White,
Indiana Jones, Cap'n Jack, the Mad Hatter, Elizabeth Swan, and Athena!
(Doesn't she make you laugh out LOUD!?)
