Happy Kwanzaa!

Every December, our dear friends all get together for a themed
Christmas party!  One year it was ugly Christmas sweaters, another it was
best Christmas plaid, then crazy Christmas PJs, well this year the theme
was Happy Kwanzaa!  I think it was the funniest theme yet!
(Me, Pam, Becky, Heather and Mark)
(A Kwanzaa party isn't complete without a Colt 45 under the tree!)
Pam and Kirk
Kirk and Chris
(Pam made their outfits!)
Pam and Heather
They found their fantastic ensembles at a store in Newnan!
Their tiny red fedoras screamed "Happy Kwanzaa"!
Lukey and I
We had just gotten back from being at Disney World for a week,
so we through our costumes together in about 5 minutes!
White elephant gifts!
It was pretty fitting that Kristin got this gift!
Black Santa makes an appearance again this year!
Not quite sure what Brandon got!???
Meooow!
Pam is the World's Greatest Pillow Partner!  HA!
And what party would be complete without the swapping of the wigs!
Happy Kwanzaa Y'all!

One more time...

We were having such a wonderful trip, we couldn't bear to leave!
So Lukey called Disney reservations and we extended our stay!
We also added one more day at the Magic Kingdom to our ticket!
Trey got to drive the Jungle Cruise boat!
I hope we'll look back on this and laugh one day!
CharacterPHOBIA!
She was doing that because Trey was doing this!
The Winnie the Pooh ride had an all new interactive waiting in line area!
SO much fun... we even got to "write" in honey!
This is how Ambry likes to watch a Disney parade!
Darn characters!!!
Cutest little spectator ever!
There's always something new at Disney...
We had never seen this before.
There was a man drawing Disney characters up and down the street
with what appeared to be water and a brush!
Some of our favorites...
(And by OUR I mean Luke, Trey and my favorites.)
We rode Big Thunder for our first Magic Kingdom ride of the week
and then rode it as our last MK ride of the week!
A friend told us to go see the giant gingerbread house
at the Grand Floridian.  We were so glad we went!
Truly amazing!  And it smelled heavenly!
We even spotted some mickeys on the gingerbread house...
No one wants to say goodbye to the mouse tomorrow, but it's time to get
back to the real world.  We had a most magical vacation and made
such special memories.  We are VERY thankful for our trip and we're
already talking about when we can come BACK!

Epcot!

All ready for a day at Epcot!
Getting to Epcot was an adventure in itself...
We rode our bikes down to catch the boat to the Magic Kingdom,
then walked from the boat to the monorail and
took one monorail to Disney parking area
and then hopped on another monorail to Epcot!  WHEW!
Our first view of the "golfball"!
Epcot's Christmas decor was fabulous!

And I wonder who might be able to guess why Ambry is WAY WAY WAY across the street from Trey and I...

Of course...
Trey was
meeting
a
Character!
Disney's new
Duffy Bear!
We loved his
little rear end!

This is one of our favorite things to do in Epcot!
The Kim Possible Missions!
This year we got to do a mission to save the world in Mexico!
Had to snap a photo of this group singing!
GOSPEL!
They were singing one of our favorites from church...
"Lord you are good and your mercy endureth forever!"
AMAZING!!!
(The photo above represents something I am a little CRAZY about when we go to Disney...
finding hidden Mickeys everywhere.  I get obsessed with finding them!)

After a futuristic good time at the park, we came back to the
campground in time for the nightly movie/marshmallow roast/sing a long
with CHIP and DALE!
Chip and Dale didn't go over too well with one little camper.
Does it get any better than warm s'mores, Christmas carols
and a Disney movie under the stars?
I think not!
